WARNING: This post may gross and or freak you out. You have been warned.

So, yesterday I had the PLEASURE of getting my wisdom teeth removed. Really, it was the highlight of my year... not. So my bottom two wisdom teeth were impacted and just a plain nuisance, so they got ripped apart. My top ones haven't come in all the way yet, so i'll probably just get them pulled in a year or so. I got general anesthesia for the first time, and let me say, that stuff is CRAZY. The last thing I remember is the nurse giving the Surgeon the vial, or whatever it is, to put in the needle. The next thing I remember after that is waking up with a mouth full of gauze and an upset stomach. Yes, I threw up on the ride home. I was miserable. Luckily my cheeks did not swell too badly, and I think that i'm healing at a normal pace. Unfortunately, the pain killers they gave me were too strong, leading me to throw up again. Woo. So now I can finally hold down food, and i'm on different pain killers. But i'm still on the road to recovery. Blech.

But.. HAAAAAPPY NEW YEARRRRRR!

When it gets unusually cold, snowy, and/or rainy, do you prefer to remain indoors? If there's a long stretch of bad weather, do you tend to get depressed and/or stir crazy? If so, how do you cope?

Well, when it's GOOD snow, I hike up my snow pants and trek up the mountain.  Just to come down in a more expedient fashion via my beautiful baby blue Rossingols. When it's rainy, I tend to become hermit like and hide in my room with some Chai Tea, music and a book. I know that sounds horribly cliche of a seventeen year old, but it's really true. If I only could have chai lattes, iced chai, or chai tea for the rest of my life, I would be a very happy camper. I try not to get annoyed with the bad weather, because I know that it'll pass eventually :) .

Hello, gorgeous! It has officially been TOO LONG since i've posted here, and this is the reason.

MY LAPTOP WENT MISSING

Yes, my dear darling Dell Laptop went missing in August and hasn't been seen since. I thought that he would at least leave a note, but no, nothing. I was expecting to be served Divorce papers, but alas none have come. So, assuming that he as left me, I have fallen in love again. Yesterday I got a brand new Macbook, and it was love at first sight. He is good to me, and works the way he is supposed to. I love him.

Something else that I got yesterday that I loved? GLAD YOU ASKED!

HELLO, GORGEOUS!

Yes everyone, I got the Barbra Streisand Barbie Doll. My life is COMPLETE!

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday season and has a wonderful and prosperous new year!  As for me, i'm getting my wisdom teeth out on the 30th, so expect a post about how incredibly horrific that was.

TA TA FOR NOW! :)

And boy are they right. Let's discuss what my life has come down to, shall we?

Food. AP US/English mania. NYSSMA craziness. Food. Prom-a-drama. Swine flue mania. Food. F Scott Fitzgerald. Procrastination. Food.

Sadly, that's it. Junior year was so nice, and relaxed! But all of a sudden,  BAM! Everything hit at once. Right now, I'm staring at my AP English Author's report. It's 4 pages long now, and needs to be between 7 and 9 by monday. -Sigh- At least I like my author. So, yay?

There was just a commercial for the Bride Wars DVD. They were playing In the Hall Of the Mountain King from Peer Gynt.. flashbacks to last year's orchestra. Everyone has heard that piece. It sounds SOOOO cool, but is not that fun to play. Especially up to tempo.

Anyway, back to my life. NYSSMA! If you aren't from New York, you probably don't know what I'm talking about. Basically, you go, and perform a piece and do sight reading, and you're given a grade. Sounds simple right? Eeeeh not so much. For sophomores and juniors, there is the option of All State, which means your score is sent as your audition for the big conference held upstate. So, this audition has a lot riding on it. I'm singing Widmung which is a really beautiful german piece, but I'm not worried about that. It's the fact that the sight reading is in treble clef (obviously). But I am a member of that lovely minority who reads music in Alto/Viola clef. This means that I have to transpose the music in my head right as I get it. FAN FLIPPING TASTIC. Anyway.. enough about NYSSMA..

Prom-a-drama?

Well let's see here. Originally I had a date, and I was going to be wearing a bright red flapper dress. Sadly, neither of those is happening. Instead i'm just going with the girls, and I'm wearing a long green dress. At least I look like Ariel :) I don't think I'll have as much fun as I did last year. Even though this prom is with people in my grade... I just am not excited. It's sad really.

Do you know what else is sad? That it's a friday night, and I'm sitting in my living room, in my sweats, typing this, and watching The Devil Wears Prada.

Pah-the-tic.

Well I guess I should go find something productive to do.. liiiiiiike write my paper..

Have you ever met a celebrity in real life? Who was it and how did your paths cross?

I met Kristin Chenoweth in April of 2006. My best friend and I went down to NYC to see her tape Regis and Kelly live. Aterwards, we were in in the lobby and we got to talk to her and take a few picutres. I was always so nervous that when I would meet her she wouldnt live up to what I thought of her. Thankfully she proved me wrong. :)

Hey look its Jenna! I'm back and bettah than evah! It's been a little while since my last post, so i'm gunna update everything that's happened since then.

The year didn't really start off too well. On January 5th I lost my dear grandfather. He had been sick for a year, so it wasn't too much of a surpirse. In the time leading up to his passing I spent a lot of time with my cousins. I really think that he would have wanted that to happen. It's the first time since we were incredibly little that we have seen each other so much, and boy we sure were missing out. I love them so much, and it upsets me that we are all growing up and getting further and further apart. (Geographically anyway) But, they really helped to lighten those weeks from the end of December to January. I am forever greatful for their tissues, and laughs.

On a lighter note,

I stil love Barbra Streisand.

At this very moment i'm watching The Way We Were. I the timing appropriate seeing as tomorrow is St. Valentine's Day. Oye. I am going to be spending it without a significant other again this year. Surprise, Surprise. It's only the.... 17th year in a row.. But you know, I ALMOST had one last year. The key word, almost. We did go to prom though... I digress.

I have become incredibly obsessed with making lists. Thank you listography.com :) (Ps. mine is listography.com/jennajamx check it out!)

So what am I doing this weekend instead of being showered with romantic notes and roses?

I'M GOIN' SNOWMOBILING! OHHH.

Yeah i'm going upstate to snowmobile. HOPEFULLY there will still be ice on the lake, we've been having quite the warm spell.

Well, that's all I feel like writing for now. Goodbye :)
